In the initial phase of landscaping in East Hanover, NJ, Magaletta Design Environments constructed retaining walls throughout the property, creating a foundation for the subsequent projects. Over the following year, the project unfolded with the focus shifting to the backyard, featuring a custom gunite pool with a spa. This backyard transformation also included the design and construction of fully equipped outdoor kitchen, perfect for entertaining.
The landscaping on the East Hanover, NJ project included a charming urn for seasonal flowers,a custom masonry fireplace and custom steps leading down to a patio encompassed by perennials and plantings. Outdoor lighting was installed as well as irrigation and drainage to properly maintain the lush landscaping.

A custom fireplace adds warmth and elegance, while custom masonry steps connect the outdoor kitchen to the patio, enhancing accessibility and flow.
This project is an expansive outdoor kitchen, equipped with top-notch amenities like a grill, refrigeration, kegerator, and a pizza oven for gourmet outdoor dining. Ample seating creates a social hub, encouraging relaxation and open-air dining. The addition of a pul-out trash bin and storage areas ensures a convenient culinary experience. We have been contracting with Magaletta Design for our Landscape Projects for over 10 years. Matt has such creative and unique Ideas when it comes to putting a project together from the initial design to the completed project. Matt made our job in Curtis Point, N.J. a work of art, including a remodeled pool, outdoor kitchen, raised patios and fire pit. Last season, Matt completed our backyard project in Chatham, N.J. Since its completion, we have used our backyard more than ever. When we sit in the backyard with family and friends within minutes, we are all relaxing and enjoying the beautiful atmosphere. Matt is easy to work with and his staff is friendly and accommodating.
