The landscape design in Monmouth Beach, NJ, showcases Magaletta Design Environments’ expertise in transforming outdoor spaces into stunning retreats. We designed and installed a custom walk-in shower off the back of the house, complemented by a paver stone patio that extends from the driveway into the backyard. A stone bridge over a pond area with waterfalls adds a touch of elegance to the landscape.
The centerpiece of the backyard is a spacious outdoor kitchen with a custom pergola and two grills, including a wood-burning pizza oven. Refrigeration and custom granite countertops complete the kitchen. Outdoor lighting and trellis work enhance the overall ambiance and provide both privacy and aesthetic appeal. For recreation, a bocce ball court was included in the landscape design in Monmouth Beach.

The focus of this project was to create a lush and inviting landscape design that complements the coastal surroundings. A variety of plants, trees, and shrubs were incorporated to enhance the natural beauty of the property while providing privacy and shade. The design also features winding pathways and garden beds, adding a sense of charm and elegance to the outdoor space. Overall, the landscape design at Monmouth Beach combines functionality with aesthetics, creating a beautiful and relaxing outdoor retreat.
This unique water feature creates a tranquil and picturesque setting. The multi-level waterfall cascades into the pond, creating a soothing sound that enhances the overall ambiance of the outdoor space. A variety of plants and rocks surround the pond, adding to the natural look and feel of the feature. The finishing touch is the stone bridge that goes over the pond. The entire feature was designed and implemented to give the impression that it was a naturally occuring part of the landscape.
A stunning and functional outdoor kitchen is the heart of this outdoor living space. It includes includes two grills, a wood-burning pizza oven, refrigeration, a sink, and ample storage built into stone veneered counters with custom granite countertops. The custom pergola provides shade and defines the space, creating an inviting atmosphere for outdoor entertaining. Integrated lighting allows the outdoor kitchen and pergola to be enjoyed day and night, while the design elements, such as trellis work, add to the aesthetic appeal.

The outdoor lighting effortlessly transitions the space from day to evening without missing a beat. Integrated throughout the design, the lighting features LED and low-voltage fixtures that highlight key features such as pathways, trees, and architectural elements, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This strategic placement enhances the overall aesthetic and usability of the outdoor environment, ensuring energy efficiency while providing illumination and ambiance.

We have been contracting with Magaletta Design for our Landscape Projects for over 10 years. Matt has such creative and unique Ideas when it comes to putting a project together from the initial design to the completed project. Matt made our job in Curtis Point, N.J. a work of art, including a remodeled pool, outdoor kitchen, raised patios and fire pit. Last season, Matt completed our backyard project in Chatham, N.J. Since its completion, we have used our backyard more than ever. When we sit in the backyard with family and friends within minutes, we are all relaxing and enjoying the beautiful atmosphere. Matt is easy to work with and his staff is friendly and accommodating.
