With over 35 years of experience, Magaletta Design Environments is rooted in a deep passion for landscaping and outdoor beauty. Founder, Matt Magaletta, discovered his love for landscaping as a young boy, starting with mowing neighborhood lawns. This early interest quickly evolved into a professional pursuit. From a neighbor who happened to be a seasoned landscaper, he learned the intricacies of the trade.
Matt’s journey introduced him to the elegant art of Japanese landscape design, the craft of building stunning waterfalls, retaining walls, and patios that blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. His enthusiasm for being outdoors, coupled with a commitment to nature and design, fueled the continuous growth of the business.

We have been contracting with Magaletta Design for our Landscape Projects for over 10 years. Matt has such creative and unique Ideas when it comes to putting a project together from the initial design to the completed project. Matt made our job in Curtis Point, N.J. a work of art, including a remodeled pool, outdoor kitchen, raised patios and fire pit. Last season, Matt completed our backyard project in Chatham, N.J. Since its completion, we have used our backyard more than ever. When we sit in the backyard with family and friends within minutes, we are all relaxing and enjoying the beautiful atmosphere. Matt is easy to work with and his staff is friendly and accommodating.
